An Unpleasent Experience
So, we tried naturism on a secluded unofficial nude beach and fell head over heels with the lifestyle. We started going to this nude beach whenever we had time and weather was favourable. The remoteness of this beach meant there were only a handful of nudists whenever we went. We were never approached by anyone, everyone kept to themselves and there was no ogling. It was a perfect plot for us newbies.
Meanwhile, we found out the existence of a legal nude beach which was quite popular with easy access. Though it was a bit of a drive from where we lived, we decided to go check it out. We went there on a long weekend, and it was busy. We got a bit anxious when we saw so many nudists on the beach, however it was nice to see people enjoying in the buff. As usual we found a quiet place to setup, got naked and went for a dip.
After swimming for a while, we started walking back to our spot on the beach and realised that we were being followed by a man. To our astonishment he looked like he was of Indian (sub-continent) descent. We got a bit panicky so avoided making any eye contact with him and kept walking. He followed us all the way to our spot and continued walking away from us which was a bit of relief for us. But after a few minutes he came back with his things and setup close to us. He kept staring at us which made us uncomfortable, so we decided to move to another spot. He came looking for us and again setup close to us. With his persistent stalking and ogling we decided to pack up and leave. He even followed us to our car; we just threw our stuff into the car and took off.
That was probably the first and last time we felt uncomfortable practicing naturism. Now when we look back, the unpleasantness was because at that point in time we had never socialised with any nudists, and we always kept to ourselves whenever we visited nude beaches. Also, when that guy who followed us around, it made us feel that we were preyed upon and left a bad taste in our mouths.
Eventually we did overcome this unfortunate incident and conquered our fears to embrace this amazing lifestyle.
PS: Below is a great infographic we found on Reddit by u/DownstreamSalmon. It's about about dos and don'ts on a nude beach.
Sorry you had to deal with a creep. Unfortunately, most nudists/naturists I know have at least one creep story. Glad it hasn't stopped you from continuing!
ReplyDeleteThat sucks. Hopefully, it won't keep you from what is inevitably, many enjoyable experiences and new friendships.
